Itinerary
On a full-day tour, you will get to know this cosmopolitan city. Located on the European shore of the Bosphorus, the Dolmabahce Palace vividly reflects the glory days of the Ottoman Empire. Next, you will explore the cylindrical Galata Tower, built in 1348. The tower remained the tallest structure in the city for centuries. After lunch break you will visit the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts has a collection of valuable manuscripts, carpets, and other important historical artifacts dating back to the 7th century. Your last stop is the Basilica Cistern, the largest underground cistern of Byzantine Constantinople. Also known as the “Sunken Palace”, it is one of the major tourist attractions of modern Istanbul.
